Firstly, exactly what is an โexpedition vehicleโ?
Well, if you were to set up a vehicle with the purpose of travelling to remote and distant placesโฆ being self-sufficient for extended periods of timeโฆ able to travel overย pretty well all types of terrainโฆ then youโd have an expedition vehicle.
So weโre talking long range fuel tanks, lots of water storage, storage space for lots of food and so on. We decided to set up such a vehicle, so we can travel indefinitely to some of the remotest parts of Australia. So it made sense for us.
Some people call them truck campers or even overland vehicles. Whatever the name, theyโre an ideal way to travel!
