Firstly, exactly what is an “expedition vehicle”?
Well, if you were to set up a vehicle with the purpose of travelling to remote and distant places… being self-sufficient for extended periods of time… able to travel over pretty well all types of terrain… then you’d have an expedition vehicle.
So we’re talking long range fuel tanks, lots of water storage, storage space for lots of food and so on. We decided to set up such a vehicle, so we can travel indefinitely to some of the remotest parts of Australia. So it made sense for us.
Some people call them truck campers or even overland vehicles. Whatever the name, they’re an ideal way to travel!
