Expedition Vehicle

Living With An Expedition Vehicle

Jump To Articles – Click Here!

Firstly, exactly what is an “expedition vehicle”?

Well, if you were to set up a vehicle with the purpose of travelling to remote and distant places… being self-sufficient for extended periods of time… able to travel overย pretty well all types of terrain… then you’d have an expedition vehicle.

So we’re talking long range fuel tanks, lots of water storage, storage space for lots of food and so on. We decided to set up such a vehicle. Our plan is to travel indefinitely to some of the remotest parts of Australia. So it made sense for us.

Or some people call them truck campers. Whatever the name, they’re an ideal way to travel!
